AIG asks ex-Lehman lawyer Thomas Russo to be next general counsel

US insurance giant American International Group Inc. (AIG) has asked Thomas A. Russo, former legal affairs chief at Lehman Brothers, to be its next general counsel, according to a report from WSJ that cites those "people familiar with the matter."
