Linklaters chooses a new German chief
Carl-Peter Feick – a partner at the Linklaters since 2001 who led the banking and capital markets practice since 2004 – has been elected the new head of the firm's German office by vote of the partnership. Feick replaces Michael Lappe, who has held the post for two three year terms and is thus ineligible for re-election. Linklaters’ senior partner David Cheyne said: “I would like to congratulate Carl-Peter on his election. He has a very strong track record both as a lawyer and in various management positions, and I look forward to working closely with him in his new role. “I would also like to thank Michael Lappe for all he has achieved over the past six years as German senior partner. During this time, our German practice has continued to develop and, as a result, today ranks in the first tier in Germany.”
