White & Case appoints counsel Baldwin Cheng to partnership

White & Case has promoted bank and finance restructuring counsel Baldwin Cheng to the partnership and has relocated him from Hong Kong to Beijing. The firm continues its efforts to place UK and US qualified lawyers throughout key Asian jurisdictions, but has suffered a series of high profile partner losses in recent months.
