Hammonds boosts pension team with new hire from Charles Russell

Hammonds has hired former Charles Russell head of pensions Kris Weber, bringing the total number of London-based pensions partners to five. Weber is followed by pensions associate Stephen Moore. Hammonds’ International pensions head Francois Barker said: "The hires are very exciting in terms of taking us to the next stage of growth. We have grown organically to become one of the largest teams in the market, but there is no doubt this tactical bolt will help us immensely." He added: "Historically, Hammonds has tended to advise trustees. This is still an extremely important part of our business, but we have developed our corporate advice basis significantly in recent years. Kris' practice - which in the main sees him advising corporates - will help us expand our offering in that area."
