Watson Farley & Williams hires four partners for London office
Watson Farley & Williams has made some high profile partner hires in its London office, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 97. Emanuela Lecchi, formerly the head of Charles Russell’s competition and regulatory group, will glide into place as head of Watson Farley’s competition and regulatory team from 1 June. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s MENA energy and infrastructure finance practice head, Charles July, will join the firm’s international project and structured finance group on 17 May. Mark Evans, the former European general counsel at Constellation Energy Group, is set to join the firm’s international corporate group on 17 May. And dispute resolution partner Robert Platt, previously a partner at Curtis Davis Garrard working in shipbuilding, offshore, construction and renewable sector, has joined the firm from 1 May. Managing partner Michael Greville said: “These recruits are part of a deliberate strategy to expand our London office with quality, lateral hires who fit with our existing practices.”
