DLA Piper in secret negotiations to outsource IT
The folks at RollOnFriday have broken the news that DLA Piper is in negotiations to outsource its entire global IT department of over 1000 staff. They are reportedly talking to both Cap Gemini and Capita about stepping in to provide for the firm’s IT needs. The negotiations come after the firm gave assurances, just three months ago, that there would be no more job losses within the IT department following the huge redundancies made last year.
