Law firm marketing alliance 'QualitySolicitors' attracts more participants

QualitySolicitors, a marketing alliance that aims to draw hundreds of firms under a single recognizable brand, has boosted its numbers with the addition of 15 law firms this week. Hundreds more expected to follow. According to reports, firms such as Lockings in Hull, Burroughs Day in Bristol and Howlett Clarke in Brighton have rebranded themselves under the QualitySolicitors banner. QualitySolicitors hopes to stay ahead of the curve by preparing for the Legal Services Act 2007, which will come into effect in 2010 to liberalise ownership and investment in law firms. It hopes to have an outpost in every town in England and Wales by autumn 2011.
