Bird & Bird to launch office in Abu Dhabi

Bird & Bird is set to launch a Middle Eastern presence with a new office in Abu Dhabi, pending license approval. The office will be led by corporate partner Mark Pinder, who will be assisted by telecoms partner Tim Schwarz and a group of three associates. The firm hopes to be licensed by the end of the summer and the branch will begin by targeting the TMT, healthcare and life sciences, aviation and aerospace, clean technology and energy sectors.
