Kishanganga Dispute: India and Pakistan appoint arbitrators
India, has finally appointed Peter Tomka, Vice President and Sitting Judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and Lucius Caflisch, a Swiss international law expert and also a Professor at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva to represent India in the Kishanganga project dispute with Pakistan. Pakistan has now appointed Bruno Simma, a German who is a sitting judge of the of the ICJ and Jan Paulsson, Co-Head of the International Arbitration and Public International law group at Freshfield's Bahrain office as Pakistan’s arbitrators in the ICA to resolve its dispute with India.
