Nortin Rose posts marginal drop in revenue

Norton Rose has reported a turnover marginally lower than that of last year. The UK firm saw revenues of £307 million, a 2 per cent drop from last year’s £314 million take. The firm has delayed releasing information on profit per equity partner while the figures are finalised, but it is expected that there will be a decrease on last year's figure of £517,000. Norton Rose chief executive Peter Martyr said: "We have had a very stable year. While I dislike even a small turnover decline, in business terms I am comfortable with this result.” Mr Martyr pointed out that the firm’s four-day week Flex Programme has helped the firm avoid redundancies during the financial downturn.
