Bird & Bird reports 10% increase in revenue
Bird & Bird has reported a double-digit increase in turnover for the 2009-10 financial year, profits per equity partner dipped slightly. The firm’s revenue increased 10 per cent from £184 million to £202 million, and average profits per equity partner fell marginally, with a 3 per cent decrease from £481,000 to £466,000. Bird & Bird chief executive David Kerr commented: "While economic conditions are still challenging, the firm continues to perform well and I am optimistic for the future." He added: "There are definite opportunities in the market and we are well positioned internationally to offer a great service to our clients."
