Shearman & Sterling boost China practice with hire from Simpson Thacher

Shearman & Sterling has boosted its practice in China with the hire of Suang Zhao to its Hong Kong office. Zhao will join the Greater China corporate team led by Asia managing partner Matthew Bersani, head of China practice Lee Edwards and head of Hong Kong practice Colin Law. Zhao is a New York-qualified securities and M&A lawyer, who joins Shearman from the Hong Kong office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
