Job offer deferral leads to court action

Sarah Martinez is suing San Francisco-based Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk & Rabkin after the firm offered her a job only to defer her start date and then rescind the offer altogether. Martinez’s cause of action also includes allegations discrimination on the basis of her gender and Mexican ancestry alongside the claim that there has been a breach of contract.
