Latham boosts Middle East practice with new hire in Doha

Latham & Watkins has hired Ahmed Anani, the Qatar head of regional law firm Al Tamimi & Co. Mr Anani – a corporate partner – will join Latham later this year as a partner in the Doha office, pending approval from the local regulatory authorities. This latest hire is part of the firm’s strategy to establish a strong presence in the Middle East, and follows the 2008 launch of three offices Doha, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
