SJ Berwin elects new managing partner

SJ Berwin has elected corporate partner Rob Day to the role of managing partner after a leadership vote that saw fellow corporate partner Perry Yam come in second. Day will replace current managing partner Ralph Cohen from 1 November. Cohen decided to step down from the leadership part through his third term, in order to return to full-time practice. Commenting on his appointment, Day said: "I am proud to have been elected by the partners of SJ Berwin. I have a clear strategy for the firm which I will be discussing in further detail with my partners and our clients over the week ahead."
