300 year old firm Dawsons in trouble?

Dawsons, a firm with 300 years of lawyering to its name, is showing signs of wobbling in the tough economic climate - asking staff to consider working a four-day week and taking a 15% pay cut. A spokeswoman for the 18-partner firm denied that the firm was in difficulty, saying that the measures had been proposed "to try and run a more efficient ship".
