Debevoise hires Council from Orrick for Shanghai base

Debevoise & Plimpton has announced the hire of Niping Wu to the role of International Counsel in the firm’s Shanghai office. Wu comes to the firm from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe’s Beijing office, where she was a partner. “We are thrilled to have a lawyer of Niping’s stature and experience join Debevoise to play a key role in the continued growth of our practice in Asia.
