Top IP litigators from Mayer Brown and DLA Piper launch boutique firm

Seven IP litigators from two top international law firms have partnered to open Feinberg Day Alberti & Thompson. Ian Feinberg comes to the new US firm from Mayer Brown while Elizabeth Day, David Alberti, Clayton Thompson, Sal Lim,Yakov “Jake” Zolotorev and Marc Belloli come from DLA Piper. The IP boutique will serve clients with complex intellectual property litigation needs, with an emphasis on patent litigation. “We are very excited to be opening a firm with a deep technical bench and extensive trial experience. We believe that we have a created a more efficient and ultimately better model for clients with IP litigation needs,” said Elizabeth Day. Feinberg Day has already been retained by Adobe, Apple, Palm and Trident Microsystems to handle ongoing patent and copyright matters before the International Trade Commission and various district courts.
