Paul Weiss to launch in Toronto after double hire from Shearman & Simmons

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison have announced the launch of a new Toronto office after the hire of partners Christopher J. Cummings and Adam M. Givertz from Shearman & Sterling. Cummins and Givertz will be joined by partner Andrew J. Foley, who will relocate to Toronto from New York. "We are responding to our Canadian clients’ increasingcross-border business activities" said Paul Weiss chair Brad S. Karp.
