CMS network expands to Albania

The CMS Cameron McKenna network has reached Albania after its Italian outlet, CMS Adonnino Ascoli & Cavasola Scamoni, hired a nine-lawyer team from Eversheds Bianchini. The team is led by the Albania managing partner Marco Lacaita, alongside senior associate Mirko Daidone. They are followed by seven other lawyers and two support staff. CMS Adonnino Ascoli & Cavasola Scamoni managing partner Pietro Cavasola said in a statement: “This is an exciting acquisition for us, as the relations between Italy and Albania are strong. We believe this acquisition will create work within the Balkan region since many Italian companies are interested in investing in this area, and we’ll also be able to further develop the business together with the other CMS firms.”
