India to reform court processes for IP disputes

In a move designed to encourage greater business investment in India, Law Minister M Veerappa Moily is set to introduce a bill to establish specialised commercial benches in all high courts, with a mandate to to protect commercial intellectual property interests and to dispose of such disputes within one year. Minister Moily announced the proposed legislation at a function organised to mark the World Intellectual Property Day.
