Weil Gotshal hires banking partner from Linklaters in London

Weil Gotshal & Manges has boosted its banking practice with the hire of banking partner Stephen Lucas from Linklaters’ London office. Lucas is qualified in both the UK and the US, and has been with Linklaters since 2004 – before which he worked with Clifford Chance. Lucas was part of the Linklaters team that worked on the largest debt restructuring to take place in Europe in 2009, avising a consortium of banks led by Commerzbank and RBS on the restructuring of German company Schaeffler’s debt.
