DLA Piper boosts Beijing employment practice with Dell hire

DLA Piper has boosted its Beijing employment practice in China with the hire of leading labour lawyer Chris Lin. Lin is set to join the firm as of counsel, after leaving his former post at Dell, where he was senior counsel for Greater China employment law practice lead for the Asia-Pacific region. “Chris’ expertise in Chinese employment law is well-known within the US business community in China,” said Pattie Walsh, head of employment, pensions and benefits, Asia Pacific at DLA Piper. “With his track record of advising leading US companies on a wide range of labour issues in China, I am confident that Chris will be an excellent fit for DLA Piper’s clients and an invaluable asset for the firm to further drive the growth of its employment capabilities.”
