Five leading UK firms post double-digit growth

Many of the largest UK law firms have seen growth in revenues in the first half of 2011-1, with at least five of the top 30 firms set to reveal double-digit increases in revenue compared to the same period last year. Olswang is expected to report a revenue rise of more than 20% on the £40m figure the firm posted for the first half of last year. Allen & Overy has announced an 11% rise in half-year revenues, with turnover up to £582m from last year's figure of £526m. Ashurst and Clyde & Co (pre-merger) have both posted a 12% jump in revenue, bringing in revenues over the period of £154m and £106m respectively, and Taylor Wessing is expected to post an increase in revenue of up to 20%.
