Greenberg Traurig to launch office in Tel Aviv

Miami-based law firm Greenberg Traurig has announced that it will open an office in Tel Aviv in January. The office will not practice Israeli law, but will provide clients with expertise in U.S. and U.K. law, as well as legal services from other international jurisdictions. The office represents the fifth international office for Greenberg Traurig, which has 1,800 attorneys. Gary M. Epstein, chair of Greenberg Traurig’s global Corporate & Securities Practice and co-chair of its Israel Practice, said: “We’ve been coming here for 10 years, building up a practice that has now reached significant critical mass....We think we are now at a point where it is just more efficient, more economical and greater client service to be here in Tel Aviv, where our clients are.”
