King & Spalding posts 12% increase in PEP

King & Spalding has reported a 9 per cent increase in revenue in 2011, from $718 million to $781 million. In the same period the firm posted a 12 per cent increase in average PEP, with equity partners taking home $1.93 million, up from $1.73 million. King & Spalding is making a habit of posting double-digit growth in average profit per partner: this is the third year running, and the annual compound growth rate is 16 per cent over three years. The figures were posted as the firm prepares to launch a new five-year strategy at its annual general meeting this weekend, which is expected to target continued international growth along its core sectors such as energy, healthcare and pharma/biotech.
