Squire Sanders set to launch international shipping practice in London

Squire Sanders is set to launch a shipping practice in London after the hire of three partners and two associates. The team will be led by partners Graham Harris and Dharmendra Nair, who are leaving shipping boutique Thomas Cooper; Linos Choo, who leaves DLA Piper as an associate and arrives at Squire Sanders a partner; and Squire’s transportation and regulation head, Andrew Sanderson. Harris will manage the team in cooperation with the head of the firm’s New York-based maritime practice, Brian Starer. Associates Anne Pickering and Ann Mazzucco will also join the London practice from Thomas Cooper. Harris said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to develop an international shipping practice from London, with the benefits of a larger firm which has a massive contentious side and there are a lot of areas of interest for shipping work.”
