DLA Piper launches Twitter recruitment strategy in Australia

DLA Piper has launched a twitter component to its recruitment strategy in Australia for the 2013 intake. DLA Piper's HR Director in Australia, Kate Weaver, said she expected a big graduate recruitment season, pointing out that the firm’s most recent summer clerkship program saw applications increase by 30% to 100% on last year’s numbers. Talking about the firm’s new graduate recruitment microsite, Kate Weaver said: "It's important that we meet students where they are, online, to provide plenty of information about the firm, our culture, and the sort of global team they would be joining, so they can make the best, informed decision about where to start their career in law."
