Hammonds announces 19 partnership appointments

Nineteen new partners are being promoted across Hammonds’ offices in the UK and worldwide with effect from May 2008. The new partners are being promoted from within a range of disciplines, including corporate, property and employment and are from four different jurisdictions within the firm. Commenting on the appointments, Peter Crossley, Managing Partner at Hammonds, said: "Hammonds is keen to recognise talent internally and it is very rewarding that a significant number of this year's new partners began their careers at the firm. The firm's career ladder provides a transparent route to partnership that is supported and developed through a structured programme of mentoring and training. Partner promotions this year provide clear evidence of the fact that our career progression is working." The promotions are concentrated on the firm’s UK offices. Just three new partners were made up abroad.
