Khaitan, Anderson Mori, and Amarchand lead largest ever Indian mutual fund investment

Khaitan & Co and Japanese law firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune have led a deal for the largest ever Indian mutual fund investment, with Asian private insurance leader Nippon Life Insurance purchasing a 26 per cent stake in Indian asset management leader Reliance Capital Asset Management from its parent company Reliance Capital for Rs. 1450 crore ($290m).
