US legal services sector shed 1,300 jobs in March

The US legal services sector lost 1,300 jobs last month, according to the latest figures released by the Labor Department. The figures neutralise the modest gains made by the sector in February, which shows a net loss of 1,100 jobs since the start of the year. There was brighter news overall, with the addition of 120,000 jobs in March, and the unemployment rate falling to 8.2%.
