Venerable Hollywood firm links up with commercial shop
One of the oldest and most respected Hollywood firms, Weissmann Wolff Bergman Coleman Grodin, is set to merge with San Francisco and Sacramento-based commercial firm Weintraub Genshlea Chediak Tobin. With Weissmann’s 16 lawyers, the combined firm will have a total of 70 fee earnersand will carry the official name Weinstraub Tobin Chediak Coleman Grodin, and be known as Weintraub Tobin. Weintraub Tobin shareholders Alan Grodin and Stan Coleman commented on the move, saying: “Our entertainment division will continue to operate on behalf of its clients with the independent spirit it valued as a boutique operation, but will now offer an expanded menu of resources key to doing business in the constantly evolving entertainment industry and broader corporate environment.”
