Mid-tier firms drive legal jobs growth in Australia
Job growth in the Australian legal services market is primarily due to middle tier firms which, according to a survey by The Australian newspaper, have increased by 8 per cent this financial year. This rate of growth supasses the industry average of 5.2 per cent, and is twice the rate of growth of the top tier firms, which added just 4 per cent to their legal workforce. The biggest growth in the business was at Colin Biggers & Paisley, which increased its legal workforce by 59.3 per cent, followed by Wotton & Kearney on 37.2 per cent and Hunt & Hunt on 28.3 per cent.
