Amarchand hires new tax head in Delhi

Amarchand Mangaldas has hired Krishan Malhotraa to head up its Northern region tax practice. Malhotraa was formerly the Delhi tax head and senior executive director at KPMG. The role was formerly occupied by Aseem Chawla, who resigned from the firm in May to set up his own law firm called MNC Legal.    Managing partner Shardul Shroff said: “We are glad to have someone of Krishan’s experience, caliber, and expertise join us. His depth of experience and great enthusiasm and energy is a welcome addition.
