Freshfields elects new Italy MP
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has elected a new managing partner of the Italy practice, with Rome competition partner Tommaso Salonico set to take over from Marzio Longo on 1 August. Salonico will head the Milan office jointly with the head of the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sector group, Emiliano Conio. Senior partner Will Lawes said in a statement: “Italy is and will remain a key component of the firm’s global network and in Tommaso and Emiliano we have a strong leadership team who are committed to enhancing our offering to our Italian clients and to our international clients investing in Italy.”
