Olswang doubles the value of its pro bono program

UK firm Olswang has doubled the value of its pro bono program in the 2011-12 financial year, bringing it to £1.3 from the previous year’s £518,692.
The increase in the value of the program exceeds the increase in the number of hours dedicated to pro bono work, which increased by 6 per cent from 10,569 to 11,191 hours.
The news follows the release of a corporate social responsibility report from Hogan Lovells showing a 15 per cent drop in the number of pro bono hours carried out by the firm in 2011: 104,047 hours compared to the previous year’s 122,935 hours.
