Addleshaw Goddard offers minimum redundancy packages, say insiders
Insiders at Addleshaw Goddard are saying that the firm is paying the bare statutory minimum to the 24 staff it has laid off, according to a report at RollOnFriday. The firm, which recently announced a 30 per cent jump in profits, denies that this is the case, calling such reports "factually incorrect" but has refused to provide the figures on what is actually being paid. Since the same firm was more than willing to discuss the enhanced package offered to laid off workers in 2008, RollOnFriday suggests that the current redundancy package is probably better than the statutory minimum in the barest and most technical sense.
