UK and Africa boost White & Case turnover
White & Case revealed a 39% jump in turnover in UK and Africa for 2015, with turnover rising by £60m to £214.9m. Operating profit rose from £59.6m in 2014 to £88.9m in 2015, following a 12% top line increase in 2014. The firm’s UK operations earned £210.7m, up from £152.45m in 2014, with the African branches reporting turnover of £4.2m, up from £1.9m in 2014. Oliver Brettle, London executive partner at White & Case, stated that the strong financial results are a reflection of the firm’s ongoing investment. Global revenues in 2015 rose 1% to $1.523bn, with PEP coming in at $2.02m, a slight increase from the previous year’s $2.007m.
