A&O breaks lockstep in US
Two years after updating its remuneration system, Allen & Overy (A&O) has decided to break its lockstep for US hires in the Magic Circle firm’s Manhattan office. The move was intended to keep laterals’ pay packages competitive with other elite US firms. New A&O hires include Scott Zemser, Alan Rockwell, and Judah Frogel from White & Case, Rajani Gupta from Proskauer Rose, and Todd Koretzky from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy. The firm has not provided details of the new hires’ remuneration packages.
