K&L Gates leader Kalis to step down

Peter Kalis, chairman and managing partner of K&L Gates, will step dow from his position once his term ends in February. He has been the firm’s leader continuously for the past two decades, having started in 1997. The firm has not yet announced a new leader. K&L Gates now operates 46 offices worldwide, and is one of the top 20 firms in the world by partner headcount. The company’s revenue has surpassed $1bn for the past six years.
