Curtis Mallet-Prevost hires Ashurst managing partner in Dubai

US firm Curtis Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle has hired Alastair Holland, former Abu Dhabi managing partner at Ashurst. Holland originally joined Ashurst as an associate in 1999, and was appointed Abu Dhabi managing partner shortly after making partner in 2011. Holland joins Curtis Mallet-Prevost as a partner in the firm’s Dubai office, where he will focus on joint venture and M&A matters in the Middle East and North Africa. Ashurst has seen a number of departures in recent months from its offices in Europe and Asia.
