Allen & Overy hires two IP partners from Simmons

Allen & Overy (A&O) has hired two partners from Simmons & Simmons amid the firm’s strategic IP expansion plan. Mark Heaney and David Stone will be A&O’s third and fourth recent partner hires from Simmons & Simmons. Heaney joins the firm after one year at Simmons, while Stone had been with Simmons since 2008. Earlier in the year, A&O hired IP head Marc Döring and partner Marjan Noor from Simmons.
