Ashurst PE specialist joins Vinson & Elkins

Shaun Lascelles, who previously worked as a private equity specialist with Ashurst, has joined Vinson & Elkins. Prior to Ashurst, he co-headed the global private equity practice at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. V&E has expanded its private equity practice this year with hires including Ian Frost of Freshfields, Paul Dunbar of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, and Lascelles’ former Skadden colleague Simon Rootsey.
