Covington promotes Brian Kelly to partner in City

Covington & Burling has promoted life sciences lawyer Brian Kelly to partner in its London office, the first City lawyer to be promoted to partnership since 2014. Kelly worked in life science publications before becoming a lawyer, and previously worked at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals. He has been with Covington since 2006. Kelly represents the only Covington partner promotion in Europe this year. The majority of the firm’s promotions occurred in US cities including Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
