HSF names Rigotti as sole leader

As Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) transitions away from its dual-CEO leadership structure, the firm has named current co-chief executive Mark Rigotti as its new sole leader. Rigotti will take on his new role as of May 2017. HSF’s other current co-CEO, Sonya Leydecker, will step down when Rigotti starts his new term. She has been with the firm since joining legacy Herbert Smith in 1984, and made partner in 1991.
