Sidley expands Hong Kong arbitration team

Sidley Austin has hired three lawyers from O'Melveny & Myers to join its Hong Kong arbitration practice. The hires include partner Friven Yeoh, along with Desmond Ang and Yan Zhang, who both served as counsels at O'Melveny & Myers. Yeoh specializes in advising on arbitration matters, and has worked on cases involving industries such as construction, real estate and PE. Sidley is expanding its arbitration practice following the departure of former litigation head Charles Allen, who left the firm to join Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
