Littler to merge with French employment firm
US firm Littler Mendelson is expanding its European operations by way of a merger with Fromont Briens, a French employment firm with 170 lawyers. According to Littler co-managing partner Jeremy Roth, the firms had been in merger discussions for the past two years. The expansion follows a similar move last year in which Littler merged with German firm Vangard. The firm is also looking to expand into South America, and is looking into opportunities in Argentina and Chile.
