KWM elects Cziesla as new senior partner

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has announced that Michael Cziesla will take over the role of senior partner for UK, Europe, and Middle East, beating Dubai-based Tim Taylor for the position. Cziesla is currently a partner in the firm’s Frankfurt M&A practice. Cziesla replaces Stephen Kon as senior partner, and he will work alongside managing partner Tim Bednall in the region. KWM’s offices in Europe, UK and the Middle East have undergone some transitions lately, with a series of exits along with cuts to the region’s equity.
