Singing cowboy joins Orrick as IP partner

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe announced that it had hired the former head of Jones Day’s Los Angeles intellectual property group, Rob Dickerson as a partner. According to his former Jones Day profile, Dickerson worked as a cowboy on a cattle ranch prior to pursuing his legal career and paid his way through college by playing lead guitar in a rock band.
