Ropes hires Hitching of HSF

Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) finance partner Malcolm Hitching has moved to Ropes & Gray, which has hired several new recruits in its private equity, finance, and litigation departments with the past 18 months. While at HSF, Hitching headed up the finance practices at the firm’s UK and EMEA regions. He has been a partner at HSF since 2003, and focuses on debt finance, corporate financings, and restructurings.
